Levellers new studio album ‘Static On The Airwaves’ is being released on 25 June in 2012. The first single from the album ‘Truth Is’ will be released on Record Store Day 21 April 2012 as a limited edition 7” Red Vinyl and download. The band will be taking to the road for a string of European dates in the Spring and then Summer festival appearances where they will be playing tracks from the long-awaited new album. With an ever changing music industry the Levellers are at the forefront of a now, well established, DIY industry. They are the perfect role model for other bands trying to find their way in today’s music scene having released their own records, bought their own building/ studio in Brighton and started their own sell out festival in Devon, Beautiful Days, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2012. Sell-out tours and nine years of a sell-out festival are powerful proof of the power of the underground and the power of great live music. Renownedfor their energetic live show, longevity has not diminished the Levellers’ ability to put in a performance and get everyone in a room, or field, dancing.
