Folk-inspired, multi-award winning singer/songwriter, Seth Lakeman has announced a 16 date UK tour in October with his band at venues and theatres around the UK including a date at London’s Cadogan Hall on 13 October and finishing at Plymouth’s Theatre Royal on the 27 October. Seth re-released his album ‘Tales from the Barrel House’ on 02 April 2012 (“a definite return to form” Uncut) to meet demand after the original limited edition release sold out before Christmas. Recorded at Morwellham Quay in Devon, the album underlines Seth’s inate knack for writing both foot-stomping, sing-along songs and more tender, thoughtful ballads. 2012 has already seen Seth perform at the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and with the BBC Concert Orchestra in March as part of the Music Nation weekend. He tours to Europe and Australia in April and May, before a packed summer of festival appearances. Seth will be playing tracks from his previous studio albums plus songs from ‘Tales From The Barrel House’ at live dates in 2012.
