Dreadzone release ‘The Best Of Dreadzone – The Good, The Bad and The Dread’ on 09 May 2011. The album is packed with hits and live favourites spanning the band’s 18 year career from albums including Second Light, Sound and Biological Radio and their last studio album ‘Eye on the Horizon’ which was released on 26 April 2010 on their own Dubwiser label. Not only does ‘Eye on the Horizon’ reflect on their illustrious past of innovative releases but it picks up from where the popular Little Britain left off in the mid 90’s and re-invents the band with ten tracks that mark the move into fully formed song-writing against a backdrop of the dubwise dancabilty they are reknown for. From the ashes of Big Audio Dynamite, founder member Greg Dread, original bassmaster Leo Williams, the unmistakable MC Spee, legendary reggae vocalist Earl 16 alongside Chris Compton and Chris Oldfield make up the current team of dreadz. Their dynamic live show has been central to the story since the early days and continues to blow away audiences worldwide.
